Twitterville Talk #107

It's still hard to believe a week has passed since I was traveling down the tracks on a train to Chicago.  I'm still remembering all the wonder I experienced at the American Library Association Annual Conference & Exhibition last weekend.  Based on the activity on Twitter this past week, I'm not the only one reliving the adventure.  The world of books and reading is supercharged.  All kinds of reading challenges are being started, titles are being recommended at a faster pace.  You can feel the energy.  I hope you all will have a relaxing weekend and take some time for reading.  Look for the giveaways.  Have a great week.

  2. Thank you! I got the book today! You inspired me to try the Book a Day challenge this summer. So far it has been mostly picture books and more like two books every other day, but a lot of fun! Will you be at the Jon Klassen event? Thanks to the PTO and Waterfront Artfair Committee we are taking a busload of kids from CampREAD! You are welcome to ride with us, but we are going to be a little late and have to leave a little early. I checked with Jessilyn and she said no problem. We even have an extra ticket, but I bet you already have one! See you Wednesday hopefully!

    1. So glad the book arrived safe and sound. And hooray for Book A Day Challenge. I am behind in posting but I am keeping up better than I thought I would. Of course, I will be at the Jon Klassen event! Thanks for the offer of the ride but I already have my ticket. I stopped in Saturday and picked it up. Everyone is going to love this event. He is a really great guy.
