I'm at #NerdCampMI So... For Day One A Past Top Post

I am happy to report that I am attending NERDCAMPMI this year located at Western High School in Parma, Michigan.  On Sunday evening a group of teachers, authors, illustrators and librarians gathered for a dinner of conversation and camaraderie before the event has officially started.  There were many moments of people meeting face to face for the first time (And yes, there were tears.), people chatting about books and reading nearly nonstop and lots of positive energy and laughter.  At times I found myself stopping and looking at everyone enjoying every single minute.

For the next two days my blog posts will not be typical.  I am taking a break but I would like to share with you the top two posts highlighting the August event, Picture Book August 10for10.  In one month this fabulous effort will unfold, where book people gather their favorites in a list.

My top #pb10for10 post so far is Sweet Dreams.  I hope you enjoy the summaries and recommendations.    The books on this list guarantee sleep and a wonderful journey to dreamland.  If you have not seen this post I hope you will enjoy it.  If you have may it jog your memory or get you thinking about your own post for August 2016.

    Have you read Beep! Beep! Go to Sleep by Todd Tarpley? My grandkids love this book and insist on me reading it before they head off to bed~
