It's always interesting to see what titles will appear on state book award lists.  This week the 2015 Master List Rebecca Caudill Young Readers' Book Award Illinois Children's Choice Award was released.

There will always be events where you will remember where you were and what you were doing when they happened, events huge in human history.  In a like vein an amazing group of people relate the impact of reading Lois Lowry's The Giver.  I know I will never forget where I was when I finished it and what I thought.  Follow this link to an exceptional video.
