I did not g...This post brings back memories for me! I did not grow up around water, I grew up in the desert of central Washington. But my mom still thought it was important for me to take swimming lessons at the city pool when I was nine years old. It was all great until the instructor made us dive off the low dive to pass our final test. I was terrified of getting water up my nose (and still am) and refused to do it. He finally gave up on me and allowed me to jump in!
